Good Food, Bad Price. I am not here to knock the food at Vivace, it is great! But the price is wayyyyy too expensive for the service, venue, and type of food you are getting. I will probably not go back here because $65 for 2 dinners and an appetizer is too much.
Good Italian Food. Been here a few times and enjoy the atmosphere of sitting outside and having a bottle of wine and the food is usually average. However, a recent visit has caught us by suprise. We sat inside and was told by the waiter that the chef had recently visited Italy and was launching his new dinner menu from his travels. The food was fantastic- great flavors and cooked extremely well. The inside was old school, but in a cozy way. The meal we had that night was 10 times better than anytime before and you should take time to visit.
Good food very disappointing service. 1st time in vivace. Restaurant was highly recommended by friends. We enjoyed the food but the service was rather poor. We sat on the patio and it seemed that the organization was not the best,and a couple of us had to wait for our food while the 4 others were already eating . We were six at our table and were charged 20% gratuity that the waitress did not deserve. It seemed that she made no effort knowing she would get a big tip! Even tough the food was good I would not go back or recommend this restaurant.
Recent visit to Vivace. The service, food and atmosphere were amazing!!! The food was fresh and hot. Our waitress attentive. The patio was a great place to sit outside and enjoy the evening. We will definitely be back.

Best lasagna ever! Sauce is meaty and savory. Wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We sat outside on the terrace and were well attended to. Only negative: bruschetta was soggy on the bottom.
WISH WE COULD HAVE STAYED FOR DINNER. We had reservations elsewhere but stopped in for drinks and an appetizer. The drinks were generous for the money. We ordered the crostini appetizer which was slices of crusty bread topped with garbonzo beans and very thinly slice onion with a light white balsalmic drizzle. It was excellent. The staff and the bar crowd were very friendly. We are not from the area but if we get back this way, I would like to have dinner here.
