Gluttony. I am new to Charlottesville and was invited to wood grill.I had no idea it was a feeding trough. Every person in there including the children was morbidly obese. I couldn’t even eat because the sights and sounds of all of the overweight people gobbling food made me lose my appetite. People should be ashamed of themselves. Absolutely disgusting.
Johnson Family. We come from New Jersey to visit family in Charlottesville, and I must say, this is the best buffet that I have ever ate at.. I have had the buffet experience from NJ to Las Vegas, and I would definitely give this place a #1 rating.. The price cannot be beat and the variety of food is just awesome! It is clean, the food is hot and temperature controlled. I hope they bring this chain up to New Jersey. It is definitely a stop for us when we visit Virginia.
Nothing better :). This place has been around for a while now and we are regulars! The staff is usually so friendly and you can go there and find anything you want to eat. They recently added a chocolate fountain which just tops it off! If you haven’t been for breakfast, go for breakfast! Absolutely delicious! Best buffet in Charlottesville, remember folks it is a buffet so you can’t expect truly unique and gourmet experience!
Bland and boring. A large selection of ‘dishes’, but each are bland and uninspiring. Nothing was particularly bad (save the chicken salad — absolutely gross), but only the rolls were particularly enjoyable. If you want a massive amount of mediocre food for an inexpensive ticket, this place is fine. If you want anything unique and tasty, find somewhere else.
Exelent food and inexpensive. A ton of food to choose from and it’s hot and fresh. No atmosphere at all, but you go to a buffet to eat; right? Down scale dining but good!
Very very good. This restaurant is great! Its always crowded on the weekend which is not my thing but the food is always hot and great. I dont eat any red meat but the salad is good and the veggies are so good. The broccoli casserole is so darn good and the mashed potatoes are great. I always eat the same thing there but you can find pretty much anything to meet your taste. The pizza is not good but what buffet pizza is?
Was very dissapointed as food was basicly warmed up frozen crap I can get in my loccal grocery store. Steaks were horrible an afterthought at best
