Atrocious. How do you screw up something as simple as a bean and rice burrito? i have no idea but zazu’s surely did. i’ll say this: they are ‘generous’ with the rice. obviously an effort to keep costs down. so they’re basically serving you a rice burrito with some black beans on top. and they use some sort of god-awful sour-tasting herb in either the rice or the beans. then top that with a sour-tasting salsa. the end result being the absolute worst bean & rice burrito i’ve had in my life. it was inedible. my wife threw hers out after 3 bites. i threw mine out after 4 bites. and at the time, i was starving and not in a terribly picky mood. their goal isnt to make a quality burrito over there. it’s to keep their food costs down. truly pathetic.
