Order Appetizers, Soups (Tom Kha) and Entrees, Skip the Dessert. Delicious Tom Kha Soup, which was the highlight of the meal. The coconut, fresh mushrooms and lemongrass make for an extremely savory soup. Phenomenol Pho – if ordering a meat, ask for extra vegetables. The Green Curry is also done very well.Steer clear from the Mango sorbet, as the batch we were served appeared to be severely freezer burnt.
For my money, Momo or Ichiban would be better options. Definitely passable, nice atmosphere, attentive staff. B+
Small but tasty. Apparently the dine-in experience may be completely different than the carry-out issues the previous reviewer mentioned! I ate here on a quiet Tuesday night. Seated quickly. The place was only half filled which meant that the wait staff was available and very attentive all night. I ordered a hot green tea – not impressed – it tasted like dirt. Blah. But the Ginger Perfect (with chicken and brown rice) was delicious. Quickly prepared. The ginger was distinctive but not overpowering. It was the perfect amout of food – I would normally have eaten less but I managed to finish it all off. I think the food quality was about equal to 90% of other Asian restaurants, nothing too fancy. But I’d definitely go back to try something new.
Mediocre food, small portions defy logic. My girlfriend and I decided to try Asian Bistro tonight after receiving their menu in the mail. Upon removing the sesame chicken and the ginger perfect dish from the delivery bag, the first thing we did was look back in the bag for the rest of our food. The portions were unbelievably small. I almost called them back to ask for the rest of my dinner, but since they took almost an hour to arrive in the first place there was no point. I don’t know about you, but $12 for 6 small chunks of chicken with a total of 3 sesame seeds isn’t gonna cut it. The menu couldn’t be thrown away fast enough.
It’s ok. The meals are creative but could only fill a 10 yr old child. Had the sushi looked nice to but they put a little to much spice mayo. May not come back
Friendly, fast, & inexpensive.. while avoiding a hectic atmosphere and having decent food. It may not be our favorite place, but it’s certainly a regular spot.
Sushi. The sushi is excellent here. I haven’t tried anything on their regular menu, but the place is always full. Plan on spending a little more money if going for sushi and allow some extra time as service is very relaxed.
