The beer list is extensive (and quite varied) with a wonderful selection of ciders also available. The only food I ordered was the baked brie, which was quite nice along with some trappist ales but was nothing spectacular.The waitstaff was attentive but not prying, and was perfect as I was there to have a quiet evening with a friend.I intend to go back there again so that I can give a more thorough review, and to enjoy the many beers again.
Incredibly mediocre. Long beer beer list, but the food isn’t worth ordering and the service is nearly nonexistent. Seated 10 minutes before happy hour (which begins 30 min after open-why?) but the waiter didn’t tell us and charged us full price for the beers. Then the food was straight out of the freezer, even the dessert was, and the wait staff was occupied with something but it wasn’t our table. I thought the LOTR atmosphere would make up for it, but it’s hardly there. You can get beer anywhere, so go there instead of here.
