Upmarket Italian. This is a nice place with good service and quite good food. I went for the lobster risotto, nice al dente rice and flavoursome juicy lobster. The tiramisu was more disappointing, a light creamy spongy cake nothing like in Italy. The coffee flavor mind you was right there.
10-27: horrible experience, there was nothing our group of 6 experienced that would warrant a positive note. Slow service, table falling apart, food was horrific (hard to believe they call it rib eye), only thing good is old towne location. Try somewhere else

Terrific food, warm atmosphere. Geranio is a gem. Beautifully prepared and delicious food, attentive and courteous service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, too. Bring a date here; she’ll be impressed with your discerning taste. (My girlfriend loves this place!)For an appetizer, try the calamari, which is served with a creamy lemon caper sauce, or the garlic bruschetta. Both are excellent. It’s difficult to recommend one entree, because every one I’ve ever tried has been top-notch, but the seared sea scallops with potato and scallion pancake, the osso bucco (with Italian broccoli and saffron risotto), and the pork loin with creamy polenta, spinach, and crispy onions are all outstanding. Nice wine list, too.If you have any room left after dinner, I recommend the dark chocolate mousse with fresh raspberries for dessert.

Ok Food with Terrible Service. I dined at Geranio on the evening of 8 June 2011 with a group of 12. Bottom line up front – this restaurant came highly recommended but I along with most of my dining party were disappointed. The food was ok but the service in the form of arrogant and clueless waiters took the cake. I would not recommend this restaurant – it was not one of my best dining experiences.
