Whiskey River BBQ Hamburger. Flavorful and juicy meat, crisp bacon… Delicious!
Great comfort food!. Love the vegetarian chili!!!
Sub-standard Chili. Chili is just ok. Not a great flavor and a lot of grease. In fact from one bowl there was two full tables spoons of grease I dipped out of the chili. Drinks are small and over priced at $6.25. I was unhappy with the quality, service and cost. However, it was a Saturday night and the place was full so maybe that had something to do with it. The Cincinnati Chilly taste exactly like G.D. Ritzy’s but at twice the cost. I ordered the Texas Chili that had all the grease. The waiter or waitress will ask if you want beans added. Both myself and my brother chose to have beans. They were undercooked and actually did not have a great flavor. So I am unable to provide a positive review.
Fantastic!. This place has a cozy feel, very reasonable prices, and fantastic chili! It’s not fast food speed but you can get in, get out, and feel satisfied without breaking your wallet.I had the Texas Chili and it was wonderful! There are four kinds of chili here and they serve them with or without beans and you have the options for 3-way, 5-way chili, etc. When you arrive, they will give you a small sample of all four chili styles. It was a great way to break in a new place and get a group talking.Give it a shot!
Love Hard Times! Great chili, cold beer, cozy/casual hole in the wall.
Nice casual atmosphere. Great service. The chili was downright delicious. Go there!
Wow. I was hard pressed to pick my favorite chili. All four were really good. The Texas was my favorite followed by the Vegetarian. The cinnamon in the Cinncinati was nice. The Terlingua was good but my least favorite. I had a combination of Texas and Vegetarian on cornbread (chili bubba). Fantastic! In my opinion – better the Ben’s Chili Bowl.
