First the good, the beer was inexpensive and quite good. The flaky sweet rolls were really good as well. Now the not so good: My salad and my dining partner’s salad were both swimming in way too much dressing. I had the chicken and shrimp pasta, which was a mixed bowl so to speak. The chicken, shrimp and broccoli were well prepared, but unfortunately they were put into a tasteless sauce. My dining partner’s filet was ok, but more was expected for the price. The service was also a mixed bag, while friendly and usually prompt, the server left the 1/2 eaten salad bolws on the table through the whole meal and never asked if we liked them. We had pushed them to the side before the entree had arrived. We probably won’t be back anytime soon.
Never eating here again. The Reuben was terrible. The corned beef was fried ( i’m guessing), flavorless, and dry. My boyfriend’s ribs were bland and it looked like they boiled the ribs then slapped some BBQ sauce on top before throwing on the plate.
Walmart Version of Applebee’s. By chance, we went here for lunch when we first move here. We’ll never go back. If Applebee’s was low rent, this would be it. A dirty place, sticky tables, and slimy food. Our waitress tried her best; the same cannot be said for the rest of the staff. The staff, talking on their cell phones at the front, acted like customers were an inconvenience for them.
Grilled Mahi Mahi. Today was my first visit and I have to say, we had an overall pleasant experience. The server was very sweet and pleasant. Everyone in my party had great things to say about the food. I can only speak for my entree…it was GREAT! Had the mahi-mahi, baked potato and broccoli….yum yum good!
Yummy!. If you’re looking for a yummy lunch that won’t break the bank, Hops is your place! Add a beer brewed on site if you’re off the clock and you won’t be disappointed!
Go someplace else. Went in, waited at the front for ten minutes, several staff members walked by, avoiding eye contact. Seeing the clues, we left. I ate there once before and was impressed with neither the food, nor the price. So go someplace else and avoid a frustrating time.
