Work Outting. A bunch of us went to Jackson 20 for an office Christmas Party. We were there on Wes, Dec 19th, 2012. We had a wo derful time. Really good martinis and wine. Marie, was keeping us content. Food was delightful as well. Shared a bunch of oysters and cheese plates. Good stat with our drinks…Entrees were delics as well. Bison was very flavorful. Good Job and thanks again Marie for the wonderful office outing
Great Night. Had a wonderful dinner at Jackson 20 last night, 12/20/12, thought a wonderful meal was appropirate in case the world did end! I ahd my favorite, the ribs, the were great as always. Marie, our wait staff, was truly enjoyable, she was knowledgable and enteraining. A wonderful last night!
Super noisy! Could barely hear the person across from me. Menu was extremely limited. Waiter seemed snobby. Wayyyy overpriced for what you get. I would not recommend at all, there are far better restaurants on the same street.
A mixed bag. The physical environment was not quite right, but certainly tolerable. The spiciness of my blackened catfish nearly overwhelmed the taste of the fish itself and was maybe just a touch dry; fried green tomatoes were nice. Two dinner companions who had shrimp and grits were unenthusiastic about the grits. Beer and wine menus were great, however, and another dinner companion liked the ribs she ate. All in all, it was…okay.
Delicious. We had the Virginian Crab Cake appetizer and it was magnificent in taste with an asteticlly pleasing presentation. That was followed by the goat entree which was absolutey scrumptious. And Mac and cheese along with the best collard greens I have ever eaten. Drinks and food are a bit pricey. But my date an I were able to split an appetizer, one entree, plus a couple of drinks for less than $50. Over all, I give this place a 7.5 out of 10 and would recommend this to the best of friends. Ask for Marie
Some good … some not. Jackson 20 provided my party of five a great meal (mac and cheese with bacon and ham) and a really disappointing meal (the buffalo steak, which was requested medium and received rare). The steak was so bad the waiter got us a new one AND took it off the bill, but it was a real disappointment and negatively affected the meal, as it took 15 minutes to get the replacement while everyone else ate!
