Shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops were a hit with our table. As a bonus even on a Friday night were very accommodating to our food allergic kid

So-so…. For our Saturday night visit, it was busy, crowded, very loud, and dishes were coming out too fast at first, then way too slow. I found the citrus mojito sangria to be rather bland. Most of the dishes we tried on the chef’s tasting menu were surprisingly plain or sadly forgettable. The outstanding dishes of our evening were the Patatas Bravas, Empanadas Pollo, and Croquetas de Pollo y Jamon. Perhaps the name of the tapas game here is to aim for comfort food!Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to sample any of the desserts since the kitchen ground to a halt towards the mid-point of our evening, but the dessert menu certainly has some tempting options that just might entice me back for coffee and sweets some night. We had to ask for the dessert menu, however, as it is separate and was surprisingly not offered to us before our plates were randomly whisked away with 2 dishes yet to emerge.Absolutely abysmal/non-existent data signal and no free wifi, so if you use the La Tasca loyalty program featured on their website (which requires logging in on a cell phone to activate discounts), be prepared for an ordeal redeeming any perks! Overall, La Tasca wasn’t horrible or hugely disappointing, but it wasn’t outstanding enough to have me chomping at the bit for a return visit.

This tapas bar was the trifecta:Fun and efficient service provided by friendly personnel. A large selection of sangrias, with opportunity to load up the spirit content. The classic was the best, apple and cinnamon was surprisingly good, the berry one was weird. A very large and varied selection of small dishes and paellas, highlights were the chorizo, the BBQ prawns, the grilled beef and the spicy shrimps.

Soon good!. Loved this place! Will definitely go back again. The smoked salmon and cream cheese tapa was superb. We ordered an extra order of these. I’ve been craving them since the moment I left the restaurant. Service was friendly and fast.

This place had the worst food I have ever eaten. The fish was spoiled and the lamb was over cooked – and the got my drink order wrong twice.

La Tasca is a relaxed yet beautiful restraunt with origins from Spain. Wonderful food, beautiful decor, and worth the expense at the of the night.
