Pretty disappointed with my visit here. The order was messed up several times and we had to ask for water several times. Some of the food was bad. We had the fried spinach served to us with burnt sunflower seeds. It was terrible. For the price you would be wise to try one of the other great restaurants on King Street.

Food is sub par and the staff is rude. Don’t even bother lots of good places in Old Town. This place doesn’t want.to be in business. It started when we were trying to book a reservation for Saturday afternoon for 8 people at 4 pm and being told they were booked and the walking into and empty place plenty of empty tables even when we left at 6 pm. The waitress was rude and untrained, who brings topas to a table without plates, Sangria without cups and we have to flag her down.if find some one during the entire meal. Owner and manager were both rude and told me they had a well trained staff..food was hit and miss and expensive

Good service, good food, decent prices. Went here for a date night and had a lovely time. I have high standards for tapas after two visits to Spain. All the tapas we tried here were good (I’ve had better versions of some in Madrid, but the versions here were certainly acceptable), and some were spectacular. The cabrales-stuffed dates wrapped in bacon were particularly outstanding, and we thought the mushroom casserole (cazuela de setas) had a lovely flavor and texture. I also really liked the clam and white bean stew, although my husband (not a huge fan of seafood) found the clams to be a bit too strongly flavored. I strongly suggest ordering an extra basket of bread to soak up the juices from some of the tapas (e.g. gambas en ajillo). The house wine was both good and affordable, and the churros were pretty darn good (although we could have used more chocolate). Our waiter was great: attentive without hovering, showing up when we needed him but never interrupting. This was a very nice place for a date night, and the fact that it is in Old Town Alexandria made it even nicer, because we had a pleasant walk afterward. We will be back to happily explore more of the tapas and wine options.
