The pizza and food are good, but this is more Italian Restaurant style pizza than NY style. Their beer list is great and that is the real draw here. O…

Like this place a lot… In the area for a few days and came here twice… Not a lot of vegan options, but you can make it work for a night, or if your just visiting
Fabulous beer list…and great food. Shisito pepper starter, Bibb and beet salads, pizza, and swordfish specials were all great. Excellent service.
Yum! Good food, a little pricey, but a great vibe and definetley filling.
Great beers, hit or miss food. Rustico has a very impressive list – 12 full size pages! – of bottled beers, with also some good drops available on tap. It was a real pleasure to find a Kriek St Louis (Belgium), a beer fermented with whole cherries, expensive at $16 but so good (somehow it was way sweeter than expected, is it possible it is sweetened for the US market?).On the food side, I went for the specials for freshness. The fried green tomatoes, numbering 4, were very good except for the accompanying sauce which was better ignored. The boneless short ribs with red cabbage and shoe string fries was a complete miss. The meat was overcooked to a burnt colour and so dry it really had not much flavour left, where was the BBQ sauce to try to lift it out of its misery? The fries were inedible, just salty oily strings of crunchy crisps (angel hair style) and nothing else. The red cabbage was forgettable. See photo, a real turn off. Mind you, other meals at our table looked much better, I just made the unlucky choice.I still like Rustico for the good atmosphere and the beers.
Foodie. First, the beer list is extensive, and the menu changes seasonally. The first time I went everyone tried something different, sweet potato gnocchi, aged cheddar burger, wild mushroom pizza…all perfectly prepared and pleasantly presented.
Great for beer; good for pizza. Great beer selection and the pizza is pretty good. An enjoyable night out with friends.
Outstanding beer worth the extra money, pizza not so much. Until after a few beers!
