Oysters Rockefeller. By far the best I ever had outside of New Orleans. Im a chef and these were superb!!!!
Friendly competent service in a nice atmosphere. Homey feeling. The fried chicken dinner was over done. The gravy out of a can fit it well. The trout was OK but the vegetables were overdone. Average only on the best day.
Waitress and chef not interested in gluten free customers. More of a bother to them both! Ended up with a plate of lettuce and soggy tomatoes–lovely! Will never go back–NEVER-NEVER!!
Great food great service. It is rare that you find a local bar with prices this good..Food this great and the servers have the skills of most waiters in high end restaurants. Try the poor boy sandwiches
Nice little neighborhood bar. I’ve been here a number of times and had to update my review…the most amazing MAC & CHEESE! I rarely order mac and cheese since it usually disappoints, I like my mac and cheese super cheesy and wet and gooey not dry and crunchy. Oh my gosh…this was the bomb! If you tend toward a meaty meal – the Jambalya Cheesesteak is packed full or meaty goodness. If you want a solid neighborhood bar with good food, this is the place.
Great local Bar. Very few bartenders today go out of their way to introduce themselves and to remember you name. The Service level is exceptional as is the menu. Great place for the local flavor of Old Town Alexandria.
