Small and sweet for a nice breakfast. A very cheap, quaint little breakfast spot. It has that old diner, hometown feel in a big city. Nothing fancy, but definitely worth it for a relaxed breakfast away from the DC atmosphere.

Excellent service and food. Very quaint.

A most excellent breakfast!!! Eggs, pancakes, meats cooked to perfection in perfect portions

Disappointing, it looks inviting from the outside but the food (I ordered the meatloaf) was bland and uninspiring. The staff were cordial enough but certainly not warm.

My husband and I ordered Texas Tommy and Omelette Ham &Cheese with onion rings instead of fries. The onion rings were great and everything else was amazing. Do not arrive late for breakfast! It’s over at 11:00 a.m. Probably closer to 10:59.

If you are looking for a fancy place go elsewhere into old town where the prices go up too. If you want reasonably price for good diner food this is it. Great for breakfast or chicken salad sandwich and you get food like most people prepare at home. Not gourmet but home cooking. And the staff is generally great and the managers friendly. And the little touches of all the fresh flowers just take it a step above diner

Bland food at its best. I went to Table Talk a few times with friends for Sunday brunch and once for lunch. I suspect much of Table Talk’s popularity stems from the low prices and its close proximity to churches (the Sunday brunch crowd), residences, and popular stores. Each time I visited I was very disappointed. The food is bland, and you could probably make a tastier batch of scrambled eggs and pancakes at home.
