We are here on a busy Saturday night. The service was excellent despite the crowd. I has the crab stuffed flounder and my sister had lamb. Both were full of flavor and simply prepared. The baklava was divine for dessert. I would definitely eat here again if I still lives in the area.
Not what I would exspect
Love the dressing they use for their salads. Always get the Greek Classic (combo of gyros, chicken and pork souvlaki. Tried the zesty feta last time and really enjoyed it with the bread. The only thing that disappoints me is the tzasiki – not garlicky at all.
Incredible food. Great wine list. Fantastic Greek host, who is the son of the owner/chef, Vaso, a magician! This is Greece, in Alexandria!
Excellent gyros, love the triple dip platter for starters, yummy and authentic avgolemono soup. Disappointed that they changed their Greek Salad, which used to be made with mesclun and was outstanding. They now make it with Romaine and it’s just like any other salad. That said: love Vaso’s!
Great prices. Exceptional food. Extremely friendly staff. Called 5 minutes before arriving and they made special arrangements to set up a table for 5. Great experience. Definetely reccommend.
Make sure you try the Greek shrimp…you’ll be very glad you did!
