Good food.. I had the pulled pork and thought it was pretty good, I’ll have brisket on my next visit. Their hush puppies and macaroni were great. This place is definitely worth a try.
Meat Platter w/ Lost Rhino on Tap. Now, that makes for a nice meal! Son…..Had the quarter light meat chicken, sausage, beans, mashed potatoes n gravy and cornbread. I also had a stout. I tasted my kids’ fries, which, I believe, may have been fresh-cut. The food was very, very good. I’ve been there before but don’t recall this level of quality. Bravo!! I will go back there for sure, but I will not eat much beforehand. I want to try the 3 meat platter and get into some Key Lime Pie.
Incredibly awesome Q! My companion had the pulled pork with slaw and mac/cheese .. the pork was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy without being greasy, the sides both delicious. I saw that they served St. Louis style ribs so I went for those, along with fries and slaw. The fries were at least as good as Five Guys, the ribs were beyond good. These guys don’t parboil them like so many places do, these are slow cooked for hours and truly did fall off the bone. If you’re used to baby backs, try these with an open mind. St. Louis ribs are meatier with a larger bone and richer flavor IMHO. Bottom line .. you won’t find better ‘Q than this outside of Yadkin County NC!
Sliced beef is amazing with great smokey flavor and still juicy. The fries there are awesome as well.
First time visit. Really liked my ribs but OMG the sides were way to small. They were like eating out of a 3oz bathroom cup. Seriously,not asking for a bowlfull but something more than a spoonful. Next time ordering alacarte meat only.
This place is amazing. I go at least twice a week and everything I’ve tried us great. I’m not much on pulled pork but the pulled chicken and ribs are amazing. Try the whole chicken too. Great smoked flavor.
