Highly disappointing. The food was obviously old. It had an odd smell, it was tasteless, and the meat was spongy. Mostly vegetables hardly any meat. Obviously cheap for a reason!
Rudest people ever. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!! I’ve never given a review about a restraunt before, but this one had to be done! I ordered a item off the lunch combination menu. The menu clearly states that each item comes with your choice of soup and fried rice. When i arrived to pick up my order a 7 year old girl rang my order up. I asked where my soup was, and she yelled something in chinese to an older lady {guess her mom}, and then was told i hadn’t asked for it. I then showed them on their menu where it stated that each item came with soup and fried rice. Once again i was told that i never asked for the soup. I didn’t know you had to ask for an item that is clearly stated to come with your meal? I asked to just have my money refunded and was told no! Then the older lady came over and started yelling at me. I asked why she was yelling at me, when i was the customer, and had not raised my voice once. They told me that some customers do not want the soup, and i never asked for it. I told her that she never asked me what kind of soup i wanted. She then just started yelling at me in chinese and very bad broken english! DO NOT GO HERE! The worst restraunt experience i’ve ever had!!!!
The restaurant is dingy and dirty, service is on the verge of being rude, but food was hot and flavorful and reasonably priced. It was delicious yet somewhat scary. I’ll be back.
100% awful from the picked over food to wait on yourself service. The staff had eaten most of the food themselves and when asked for more food they would not comply.
Terrible. Food, ambiance, and staff were terrible. Stopped in for lunch: buffet was pretty well picked over; soup bowls were missing.Asked for hot tea, was told ‘no hot tea’. EXCUSE ME? no hot tea at a Chinese restaurant?Never again.
Awful. Advertises a $4.95 Lunch Buffet, but they charge you $6.75. When you inquire about the discrepancy, they tell you it’s for a soda, and when you tell them you didn’t want one, they run to the back screaming at you and refuse to talk to you anymore. The operators are very rude and the food wasn’t very good. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Ashland. The food is great and very low priced. If you are looking for something good, make it Top’s China.
