Couch cough. Went in with friends because it was the only thing open in the area at 1am. It was fUll of smoke, I had no idea you could smoke inside in the area. It was awful, we actually moved to a corner table to try to get away from it. Ordered desert and ordered the cookie blitz. It was amazing! Freshly cooked cookie with ice cream. Great if you can put up with the smoke.
While the atmosphere is cool, the service was crap. Maybe it was just a bad night, but the waitress was slow in providing ANY type of service. However the pool tables were some of the nicest I’ve been to in Arlington. Just bring your own stick.

Spending More and More Time Here. Bailey’s has really grown on me in recent months. They’ve recently revamped the menu and it really is much improved. My favorite has become the blackened mahi mahi. This place is really about the beer though! Great selection! A beer to suit whatever you’re feeling on any night. Tuesday’s $2 Pint Night is unbeatable. The bar staff is really awesome too. When there are those lulls in the middle of the day, Jenn really does bring some life to the bar. Great place! I highly recommend it.
Best bartenders anywhere. Bailey’s has the best bartenders in the world. They talk to everyone, remember peoples names. In fact Jenn at lunch is the employee of the month and rocks out the bar daily. Stop in and check it out, you will be as amazed with her as I am! Bailey’s is the coolest!
Bailey’s! Come see me!. I bartend @ Bailey’s Ballston, so I have to disagree with the negative review. I think the bartenders are amazing and the wait staff is friendly and the managers try really hard to make sure the guest’s experience is great. If something happens that you don’t like, ie- flat beer, bad food, whatever, all you have to do is say something and we go out of our way to rectify the situation. I know all the regulars by name AND drink, and a lot of us behind the bar are the same. You can’t beat the $2 pints on Tuesdays and the karaoke Tuesday nights is really fun. Bailey’s is always a good bet- bring your friends and give it a shot. We can put any sporting event on one of the hundred tv’s in there- from soccer to baseball to whatever. AND there is a 5.99 lunch menu that’s good and hearty. Ask for Jenn and mention this review…!!!
Every town has to have at least one dive. Bailey’s strives to be the largest ****hole in Arlington.. It’s quite sad. Around five years ago, they started out with the best beer selection in the area, management that seemed to care about the bar, and friendly, competent wait staff. In the interim, due to what can only be attributed to consistently poor management, they’ve devolved into a dive. This isn’t the friendly dive where everyone knows your name. Imagine if you will a sausage-fest, frat party uprooted and tossed into an empty JC Penny’s store. This is Bailey’s on a good night. Bailey’s is always dark. On a bad night it’s sparsely populated with chain smokers and really depressing. To it’s credit, it has probably 100 TVs and draws a large crowd for sporting events. I really wish the Front Page across the street would take over management.
