Great pizza delivery when in local hotels. I was staying at the Westin in Arlington and ordered a pie for delivery. The pizza and cokes arrived on time and was EXCELLENT! (if you like thin crust pizza). Cokes were ice cold too. Two big thumbs up from this guy if you’re staying in the area and need a good warm meal.
Best pizza I’ve found in the area. Grade: A-Sometimes a bad incident can lead to a great experience. Such an occurence led me to Brick’s Pizza and, for the first time since 1997, I’ve found a pizza in Northern Virginia that I really like. When my car died in a parking lot just off Route 50 in Arlington, I was parked in front of a small local pizzeria I’d passed thousands of times. When it became apparent that the tow truck would be awhile, we decided to go into Brick’s. And everything about the visit was wonderful. We were greeted by the owner, Jeff Brick, who was friendly and even allowed us to order their lunch special – which ended at 4 p.m. – at 4:25. The estblishment was small but clean, and we waited the few minutes until our medium with pepperoni and onions was done at the solitary table with a couple of chairs. The dashboard of our disabled vehicle became our dinner table and we tried the new pie. The bit of sweetness in the sauce, with a hint of spice at the back end, was wonderful. Brick’s pepperoni was excellent and not the least bit greasy. The cheese and onions were very good, but the surprise was the crust. Most pizzas in the area feature cardboard-like crusts that bring nothing to the taste. This, however, had flavor and texture and wasn’t dry. In all, this was an outstanding pizza, one as close to what we’d been seeking as we could want. It was so good that I went back in and approached the owner and told him just how much we had enjoyed the food. He presented me with some coupons for weekly specials and said he looked forward to seeing us again. As Brick’s pizza is on the way home, that will be very soon.
