The best Thai food in the area! Excellent customer service. I order here very frequently and they have never messed up an order. Their spring rolls are too die for. I will drive 20 miles out of my way to come here and pass any other Thai food places on the way. I’ve tried to find Thai food this good nearer to my house but I always end up disappointed. This place is worth the drive.
Disappointing! I’ve been to great Thai places that make their food from scratch, Ghin Na Ree is not one of them. This place makes lazy bland food. The soup was merely bouillon with a few green herbs sprinkled on top. The spring roll was flavorless. The pad Thai was made with bottled pad Thai sauce, consisted almost entirely of chicken, noodles, and peanuts. Where are the sprouts? Where are the green onions? No lime wedges? Some line juice would have helped balance the excessive sweetness. If you think this place makes great Thai food, I think you need to explore several more places and reevaluate.
My fianc and I thought it was fantastic and the portions are huge for one person and more than enough for two. It’s a tiny famil owned restaurant with lots oof flavor! We will be going back soon! Service was great too.
Great deal. Best Thai deal in the DC area. $7 for a soup, app, and entree. Very good pad thai and chicken and cashews.
I love this place!. My family has been eating here since about 1985 and it has always been a favorite, even after the ownership changed. It’s a small, family run place and they are extremely friendly and get to know their many regulars. The food is an incredible value and is delicious. The wonton soup is amazing- garlicky broth and tons of homemade little wontons. There are too many great items to list here. Basically just go eat here. It’s great and you get a lot of food for your money.
Offers the kind of seemingly authentic combination of fresh, hot, cold, and tangy sweet that I remember from Long Rain in Sydney. Very good.
