We had such a good time here. Great flights of wine (some hits some misses but so fun!) the escargot was awesome with melt in your mouth puff pastry. It was so light and flaky. The cheese plate was a great mix of soft and creamy and salty and nutty. Just a really nice Friday night date night spot.

Downhill. My first trip here a year or so ago was good, but since then haven’t been impressed. Atmosphere remains good, sevice is hit or miss. $5 house wine is a deal, but a few of them are just gross. Have a had one entree come out cold. Bruschetta is make your own style and they don’t give you nearly enough goat cheese for amount of toasts. Crab cakes have a lot of crab, but totally flavorless. Just all around should be better for how expensive this place is.13 May, 2010Nice for Happy Hour. Nice atmosphere. Raining, or we would have sat in the courtyard. Service was suspect – took someone awhile to get to the table, and it’s not that big of a place. And we had to keep asking for another round. It’s not that I like it when servers try to upsell, but at least be observant when our glasses are empty. Just got several things off the small plates menu – everyone thought everything was pretty good. House wine is always $5/glass. If nothing else, it’s worth it for that. Entree menu seems a bit overpriced.

They mixed up the meals at the table next to us and then brought us the wrong order. Then they gave us the wrong check. Food was good but there are a lot of better choices in Ballston
