Perhaps I’m a bit fuzzy on the concept of The Lost Dog Cafe, but here’s what I took away from the experience. The concept is either:A. Environmentally responsible. I had the Akita sandwich and I’m pretty sure the meat contained within was just that: Akita. It was dry, tough, and had most likely tunneled it’s way out of North Korea by the smell of it. B. Social responsibility. It’s quite possible that the cafe was trying to teach me the lack of taste and nutritional value dogs feel when they’re eating kibble from a bag. C. Compassion for those left behind. Since our dog Tuck wasn’t allowed to eat with us due to health regulations maybe they were trying to help us bond after inflicting the seperation anxiety that he surely developed while my family was at dinner. To tell you the truth, after eating here I promptly went home and licked his butt to wash the foul taste out of my mouth. We’ve been much closer since the experience.To put it in layman’s terms. I would rather kill my dog, lick his ass and wash it down with kibble and toilet water than ever eat here again.The staff was friendly and attentive.
