It is half grocery store, half restaurant. There are only four tables. I was initially very skeptical about this restaurant. I had to Google the items of their menu board because there were no written descriptions or photos. While our food was being prepared, we browsed the grocery section. However, the food was actually very, very tasty! And of course, the prices were very reasonable. The staff was not talkative, but was accomodating (brought us water, let us know how long our food would take to cook, etc.). It’s a restaurant that I would definitely visit again, but probably for carry out. Indian restaurants are hard to find in northern Virginia, so I’m glad I found this one.
The buffet. Went to Minerva Express today for the third time this month–the buffet is great. The food is delicious (except the biryani is too spicy for me!) and the price is unbeatable–$5.99 for All-You-Can-Eat! Every time they have different curries–today there was egg curry which is very unique and different desserts.

Food is good but the service is terrible. I have had repeated bad experiences with the service. They seem to lose orders after calling them in. I think they give them to other customers since they never ask your name when you order. They also try to ring up three people at the same time. I would rather wait and receive good customer service than trying to rush it and give all three people waiting terrible service. I won’t be back again. There are many other places that I will gladly give my money.
Healthy indian food. No restaraunt is giving for this less price but keeps good quality&quantity.free naan ,free rice with any gravy.free best tea daily.best service that u will feel u are at home.
