I work at PBR in the kitchen, I just want to clarify, I’m sorry if an employee gave you wrong info but our almond buttercream is actually made with almond paste, no almond liquor, you have the option of amaretto added but the basic almond buttercream is pure almond
Always Good. Very good Cakes. I have used them for years, and the cakes have been great! Even with kids functions I have experienced nothing but positive reactions. Almond extract is an enhancer and is not considered as liqour, the cakes are clearly based on French patisserie,and have these things added for a touch of authentic flair. We appreciate the fact that Randolph’s put’s forth the products of a real authentic bakery.
Clarify. I don’t think Randolph Bakery employees lied about the Almond flavor on the cake or icing. I suggest that you should omit the flavor of vanilla or almond because they are liquour based. 1/4 tsp of Almond liquour flavor is all you have in your entire cake (by the way). Almond flavor tastes like a good amount of liquour in the cake, but really it’s only about 1/4 tsp (Almond flavor goes along way)

Disappointed pastry.. I was a regular customer but since last week i was disappointed.Coz i ordered a cake for my son’s first birthday.It came not like i ordered.i wanted white chocolate with almonds and it came chocolate wz liquor.and i had 30 people in the birthday and all told me why u make it wiz liquor coz there were kids.and if u go there (at randolph pastry) they told u it’s not liquor it’s almond.I don’t think the 30 people are stupid.It will bbe my last time.they didn’t;t want to tell me they are wrong.
