This is one of my favorite pizza places in the DC area. Recently we went for pizza and brushcetta. It was all excellent as usual. Lots of families in the place. Seating and parking are unfortunately almost always an issue here so i recommend arriving early.
Sorry but this place is overrated. Pizza toppings are skimpy and the crust is soggy and way too much on the ends. Hard to get a table becuase it’s popular. Why is it so hard to find good pizza in DC area?
Enjoyed a date at this restaurant. The atmosphere is causal and relaxing. The food lived up to the hype. We tried two pizzas. One red and one white. I enjoyed the Burrata pizza best. The fresh crust and ingredients melded with the flavors of the oven. It was delicious.
I think you have to keep it simple here. I got a sausage pizza once, and the sausage tasted sour. weird. did not like. I still go here though, and I get a Margherita every time now.
I make the trip from Baltimore to Arlington, VA a couple times a year, just to get one (or two) of their fantastic VPN certified pies. I love the neapolitan style places in Baltimore (Hersh’s and Verde) but Pupatella is the mecca for me for these types of pies. Diavola with spicy salami, fresh mozz and basil is my go-to but I’ve never had anything there that wasn’t fantastic.
My friend Stephen says this is the best pizza in the DMV and he is sooooo right. So stop eating Pizza Hut Ya dingus and eat some pupy.
RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!1. I read a stupid article about the best pizza in every state. This place was rated number 1 in VA. So being bored my wife and I drive from Warrenton to Arlington Va over a hour to try this place. After getting there at around 3pm Saturday November 8th we were told they were shutting down for a half a hour until they cleaned there over. I was like we drove an hour just to eat here. The lady seemed unimpressed. I was told we could order appetizers and when I tried to order them the idiot at the register seemed uninterested in helping us. When I asked if they had any bottle water I was told if its not in the case we dont have them and she was not nice about it. We abruptly left. This was the worst experience we had had in a long time. If they have good pizza I will never find out because I’m never giving this place a second change.
