They’re Terrific. This is a terrific find. Wish I had discovered it year’s before. We usually go there weekly. Everything is wonderful. Specials are particularly amazing. Fish is fresh and service is really delightful. The dining rewards program makes it even better. Rivals anywhere I’ve had sushi in DC. Heads and shoulders above anywhere I have been in NOVA.Specials are often very unique and always wonderful. The sampler of three kinds of salmon are really good. Shrimp tempura is delicious. Their ginger salad dressing is one of the best things I have ever tasted. Wish they sold it in bottles. The artisan ice creams are wonderful too. Esp. the ginger.Recommend them so enthusiastically. Think I’ve talked myself into a visit tonight as I’ve typed this.GO! You won’t be disappointed.
Great place. Very nice atmosphere, the chefs and owner and waitstaff make you feel like family.
The best Tempura!. I’ve been dining at Sushi Zen since it opened about 15 years ago. It’s always a dining pleasure, with attentive service and great food. I especially recommend their tempura, which is crispy and delicious without being oily. Sushi Zen also offers brown rice sushi on request for those interested in healthy eating.
Love!. My fianc and I go to Sushi Zen all the time and love it! Their sushi selection is vast and everything we’ve tried there is delicious. The wait staff is always friendly and hospitable. service has always been quick for us except one time when it was very crowded. Overall, though, an excellent sushi restaurant!
Best sushi in Arlington!. I have made my rounds to find the best sushi in the north Arlington area and places in Ballston, Clarendon, and Rosslyn do not even compare to how much I enjoy this place!The staff is always friendly and greet you with a warm Japanese hello when you walk through the door. It is a very family-friendly and cozy atmosphere.The sushi could not be better. There are so many options and delicious combinations. My favorite is the spider roll (soft shell crab) and of all the places I’ve had it, Sushi Zen is an easy win.Prices are what you expect for sushi. It’s anywhere from $5-13 a roll depending on how adventurous you’re feeling.I take all of my friends here as I know no where else will compare!
This is one of my favorite hidden gems in Arlington! The food is excellent, and the service is consistently great! With it’s location in a fairly nondescript strip mall, you might not expect such a fine place, but once you try it (like I did) you’ll find yourself going back again and again.
Shrimp Tempura Haven. They have the best shrimp tempura in the area and I keep coming back for more. It comes complete with soup, salad and steamed rice. It never fails to make any guest/s I tag along happy.
