Excellent dish varieties, very tasteful with fine presentation and great service for dinner. Helpful and friendly staff. Perfect amount of wine choices. Michael the chef likes to hear your feedback.
Warm and Inviting. Our retirement crew went for lunch at Yayla and were welcomed into a bright clean and well managed establishment. We missed the belly dancing but we were their for the food any way. All lunch dishes were nicely presented and very flavorful. All five were of exceptional quality. I will come back to this restaurant.
Best Turkish in N Arlington. This is located a bit off the beaten path. It is, however, worth a visit for anyone in vicinity who likes Mediterranean food. The best small plates are the shepherd’s salad and bourek. The entrees are all good, but our personal favorites are the adana kebab and the lamb chops. The chicken kebab is good, but not great (under-seasoned when we had it). The moussaka is also quite good. My son, who is very picky, really likes the pide (Turkish pizza). It’s best to get it as you would in Turkey–without tomato–just a nice thin crust with melted cheese.
I’ve been there twice. I Love this place! Beautiful ambience, not noisy like so many restaurants these days, and delicious food. I got the donner kabob with pita bread (not rice) which is not on the menu but someone had told me about it. It melted in you mouth. The favors were addicting making you plan your next visit before you’ve even finished your meal.
Yayla Bistro. First class all the way: food quality, food interest/originality, service quality/friendliness, ambience, and value. Best was that repeats of favorites and random shots around the menu were all good to excellent. Worst was the occasional ambient noise, but it was at all times below our intolerance level (and probably also below the minimum required by younger folks 🙂
