My husband and I were traveling and discovered this place by chance. It was a busy Father’s day, but they were able to squeeze us in. We loved the views of the beach and pier from the wrap around windows. The service was excellent even on this busy holiday. The food was delicious as well. We especially loved the scallops! Sweet and large and broiled perfectly! We’ll definitely be back soon.
Terrible Experience. My husband and I were seated in a dining area that was already full. They put a table in from of double doors..where people continued to go back and forth…unbelievable. The area was clearly for groups of more than two and was crowded with two groups of at least 15 and a round table for 8. They also had place another table 4 2 right next to ours with a couple!..they food is very expensive..The shrimp imperial was tasteless and dry. The tuna had no taste. I was told it would be grilled in teriyaki..The cook obviously did know…terrible half way thru Neal the asked to move us to a more suitable tabke. I don’t recommend this restaurant food is way overated. One waitress overheardo our complaining and felt it necessary to loud talk us..nightmare which should have been my Mother’s day dinner..blah!
Expensive, Poor Quality Food & Service. Meals are served with one side and a few hush puppies. Meal 1 – Steak was dry – blah flavor. Fried shrimp tasted ok but you get 4 small ones as part of the ‘Surf & Turf’ meal. The side was a boat load of cold fries. This meal cost $40. Meal 2 – Lobster tail with a baked potato. Lobster was fair. The baked potato was old. They apparently can’t afford condiments. Had to peel open several foil packets to get a little butter for a potato I couldnt eat. This meal was also $40. Our waiter’s other tables were across the room so we were forgotten – even tbough they werent busy. Not even a drink refill. Total bill $101. For the price, we expected more. Disappointing. Won’t return.
Great meal. I had fresh flounder cooked to order to accommodate my many allergies. The flounder was a beautiful thick filet broiled to perfection. My husband loved his raw oyster appetizer and seafood tower. We will go again!
Many good points. And some bad points too. Food is fresh, well prepared. Staff is experienced and professional. Bar is fun, well stocked and pleasant. Prices have gone way up and portions gotten smaller, decor is starting to show age and it can get very close on a busy night. I suggest a very late lunch or early supper if it’s your first time, get a seat with the ocean view.
User reviews. Wonderful food, great service and very friendly staff. New menu, had the pick 3 with flounder, scallops, and crabcake. Two visits in past month and really love the seafood and atmosphere.
Lovely experience for lunch yesterday. All personnel are quite pleasant and experienced and professional. The she crab and the tower entree are superb. Thank you.
