Family owned. Food was reasonably priced and pretty good. Would definitely recommend over $8.50 spent at most other places. My food came out quickly and the staff was nice.

Do not tip, waiters do not get to keep them. Do not pay cash either, they cheat the economy by not reporting to the IRS. Avoid this place if you can. Too many short cut on their recipes. Very shady owner, the also own a nail place on Haygood shopping center.

I’ve been to Miss Saigon twice now, both in the same week. The first experience was very good and the second was bad. Both times I was served by the grandmother of the joint. She’s a nice lady with a good amount of makeup, who is really most interested in getting back to her Vietnamese soap operas via her iPad. The first time I visited, I went off script from the usual pho or vermicelli noodles-I opted for a spicy seafood variation of pho. It was delicious, save for the inexcusable use of those rubbery, tasteless, thawed out shrimps one usually finds next to the chips and salsa at your snazzier of Trump supporters’ cocktail parties. The second time I visited I wanted the mixed vermicelli dish. But instead of V5 as I ordered, I got B5. Make sure you make it clear what you want here! Rather than incite an international incident, I kept the dish, instead of sending it back. It was a spicy beef pho. Not bad. Basically it was a Tom-Yum base soup (shrimp flavored) with the usual pho ingredients in it. Disappointed I didn’t get any of the fried spring rolls that were going to be part of my intended order, I ordered some extra anyway. Yuck. What I got was some pre-fried rolls that were so horribly greasy I couldn’t eat them. They were obviously refried to warm them up again, except they were still cold inside and filled with oozing grease, and extra dark because of it. I could not stomach that. These kind of shortcuts are not acceptable. I was also a little miffed about getting the bill here. According to long-established tipping etiquette, the owner of an establishment does not accept tips. After all, it’s their business and they are getting all the profits anyway. So why are they asking for tips on the credit card line? It’s easy enough to eliminate it from the program. I suggest crossing that line out. Note, this comment is coming from someone with many years of past experience in food service, from small diners to the top echelon of restaurants-I know of what I speak.
