It was my very first time visiting the restaurant last Tuesday for lunch. My waitress was very friendly and patient while my co-worker and I quizzed her on menu items. We decided to get a sub and chicken gyro. The steak and cheese was very good and fries as well. The chicken gyro was said to be equally delicious if not more. I drank tea (could have been a little sweeter). We each paid 7.72 for a nice meal and excellent service. The young man with dark hair (maybe the waitress’ cousin) was very polite as he held the door open for us as we exited the establishment. Will return and try the Pembroke special next time!
Visited on a recent Saturday night. Several other tables were sat in the restaurant, but overall it was very quiet in the dining room. The dining room was dimly lit and chilly, although I believe we were sitting near the delivery driver’s entrance/exit. Our family shared a chef’s salad, a stromboli, and a pizza. The salad was about what you would expect: Romaine/iceburg mix, ham, turkey, cucumber, tomato, and onion. It was good, not spectacular. The meat lover’s pizza was generously topped with pepperoni, meatball, ham, and sausage and cheese. I felt the sauce tasted acidic (as opposed to sweet or spicy). The full sized stromboli was a very large portion. We ordered pepperoni, sausage, and ham. The dish came out a little slower than expected, however the server was very gracious and apologetic. The stromboli was very good, although my wife mentioned that she remembered it being better. The service was very good; although with it being a slow in the dining room, I would not have expected less. Wasn’t amazed with the place, but the value was decent, the service was respectable, and the food was nice.
The chicken alfredo pizza is wonderful! It’s all we come here for. Only problem is the girl they’ve hired recently (like in the last year) has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I cannot speak for anything else on the menu, but this pie is awesome. Buttery crust, loaded with Alfredo sauce and moist grilled chicken, this has become a weekend staple for us.21 Jul, 2012The chicken alfredo pizza is wonderful! It’s all we come here for. Wow. What happened to this place?. Years ago this restaurant served up a decent pie, the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. This is not the case anymore. Our pizza was dripping in grease and the sauce was watery and flavorless. Our salads were served limp and discolored. Whatever happened to the concern for serving good quality food to customers? If this is the best you are willing to do, just do us all a favor and close up. Will not return.
We ate there a week ago, I got the chicken parmesan & my wife got the meat lovers mini pizza. We eat here about once a month, It’s dependable Italian food that’s priced right. It’s nothing really fancy, just good Italian food.
Couldn’t be more disgusted. Came here because my daughter had a coupon for a free pizza. Ordered a chicken finger basket with onion rings along with a cheese pizza. Chicken finger basket had 4 small (chicken nugget size) strips and 7 onion rings the size of a silver dollar for 9.00. The pizza was covered in rubbery cheese the sauce had zero flavor and the crust tasted like cardboard. My 7 yr old didnt like any of her food and even with the coupon we still spent $20 on a chicken basket and 3 sodas. The restaurant it’s self smelled like a funeral home and not of food. We will not be coming back. Ever
Don’t Do It!. I’ll make this short and simple. The pizza looked like a frozen pizza you could buy in the supermarket. The medium size was a extra small pizza. The steak sandwich, mostly bread with a small cube of steak every now and then. The shrimp baskets were over priced for amount of shrimp (about 7). I usually don’t rate or review, but this was horrible. Next time, I’ll go with Chinese.
