Big flounders. Been eating here with ronnie for a long time.great food – soft crabs, NEW clam strips to die for.Ronnie is GONE…??so i have been too the marina shores location – i can not find a review for it, so i will post here.been twice so far and i thought this surfrider had big flounder fillet dinners, well let me tell you the Marina Shores SurfRider had Flounder Fillets on steroids – o m g. and i know flounder fillets.been remodeled some – really nice
Love all Surf Riders… The food is exceptionally great all the time. What is different in each restaurant is the staff. I tried to order a meal by phone and the rude girl who answered the phone refused to take my order. Really? I was told I had to come in and wait at the bar to order…. Called the SurfRider on Newtown Rd. and this pleasant gal was happy to take my order! She was helpful in suggesting sides and had a lovely attitude. Was a pleasure to give that location my business!! Bravo
At the Bar; second visit and had same thing twice which was a shrimp cocktail and crab legs. No complaint about the snow crab legs, done right and in the second go around tonight, the waitress / bartender brought out more hot melted butter half way thru my meal. Shrimp cocktail seemed to have slipped a bit since first visit two weeks ago, tonight’s were more on the overlooked side. Overall, this place serves up a lot of food and has a loyal clientele, that means a lot and guarantees a good meal.
Great crab cakes. The waitress was annoyed because had to work on a Saturday. Very rude & stand offish. Place was empty & she insisted to sit me way off to the side of the wall where i was far away as possible to any human being in the place. The salad had rusty lettuce & a very few other veggies in this joke of a salad. Asking the waitress for another fresher edible one … Was like asking for a special favor from her. She made me very uncomfortable to say the least.I had to ask her for more iced tea.She was in a bad mood & acted like she was doing me a favor by waiting on me.I will never go to this location ever again. Terrible wait staff. Looks like you need to fire your waitstaff & start over. She made me not want to eat there again. Ive been in the restaurant business for over 25 years. This is a tragic way to lose your regular clientele.

Shrimp!. I love this place. Priced just right and so good. The fried shrimp is great and extra large. I can only eat the 6 piece but you can order the 10 piece also. The flounder is alway good and when sea bass is in season you just can’t get any better. Great staff, great food and good prices.
Your Basic Seafood Rest.. The dishes are run of the mill that you would find in any seafood retaurant. The service & food is good, the restaurant was clean and prices comensurate with the food quality. I will return but fine dining it is not!
