So overpriced! I love a good sandwich place but paying $10 for a club that was merely ham, turkey, cheese and 2 tiny pieces of bacon seems ridiculous …

If ever there was an establishment deserving of a one-word review, this is the one. That word being: overpriced. It would be one thing if this was some amazing gourmet fare, but it’s really not. Just a bunch of goofy $10 sandwiches.
Excellent! Love this place, I can’t say enough good things! Beautiful and clean store with a touch of farm decor. My 5 year old had the PB&J and loved it. I had the make your own sandwich and created a Chicken Salad Sandwich on whole grain with havarti and balsamic vinegarette. It was to die for! My husband had the Turkey with havarti and Alvarado. He loved it. I can’t recommend enough!
Great food. Everything I ever get here is fresh and tasty. Sandwiches are great, of course, but the veggie stand is neat…suggest this over the super market for melons, tomatoes, etc.
Love Taste however tonight I am still waiting for my food. 4 people on register with no lines and 2 people trying to prepare a bunch of food. Something needs to change.
Diner1. Very disappointed. Ordered delivery and it arrived an hour after the scheduled time. Also, delivery person was rude as was individual who took our order. Will order elsewhere in the future.
Great food. Unfortunately, second time I have had horrible service. I expected more but very disappointed.01 Oct, 2013Food is great; service is terrible!
Expensive. I appreciate better sandwich shops, absolutely. Their sandwiches are great, no doubt. The first time I ever had their sandwiches was on the Rover during a sponsor event for sailing. The sandwiches were great. But I had no idea how expensive they were. I hate paying over $10 for a sandwich without chips and a drink. I went in there a week ago to get lunch and thought I’d get some items for an upcoming picnic with my husband. I walked out paying over $35 for a sandwich, a 1/4lb of chicken salad, a 1/4lb of cheddar/horseradish dip, a 1/4lb of potato salad, and some water/table crackers (the cheapest I could find). Ouch. The potato salad was okay at best, no real flavor aside from mayonnaise. The chicken salad was mostly full of grapes- there wasn’t enough salad to even make 2 sandwiches and it wasn’t that good (we wound up buying sandwiches for our picnic), the dip was pretty good, and the sandwich was okay. The crackers- well, I could have gotten those at the grocery store for less. You can get good sandwich meat at Harris Teeter’s and good bread, as well- for the same price as the single sandwich, I got enough meat and bread for a week.
