Amazing! I have been to a lot of local coffee shops and this one by far is the best I’ve seen in Hampton Roads. Great prices, food, ice cream, and coffees! They are very artistic and a benevolent atmosphere that provokes a sense of art within.
Best in Town. I travel around a lot and in each city I like to post a review about the best coffee shop in town. I think aLatte Cafe is the best in Norfolk. It has a pleasant atmosphere and comfy couches (what I like most in places so I can spend a couple hours chilling outside my hotel room) and the coffee is great! There are a couple of good places for coffee, but this place doesn’t dissappoint.I think what really sets aLatte apart is the people who work there are incredibly nice and remember you on the second visit. They give you space to work or chill, but are willing to talk if you want a good conversation. I was dissappointed with Bean There when both the worker’s were on their iPhones blowing away the afternoon. Get aLatte’s whole bean too! It was a big hit with my co-worker’s when I changed it up at work from the typical Folger’s in the coffee pot!
PERFECTION. Great coffee choices (and owners Melissa and Neil will make something up based on your tastes if you are not sure of what you want), amazing chicken salad, fresh bagels and treats, different ice-cream options than the usual, and awesome character.I love coming here for lunch or a break-it is so inviting and there is always something to read, a game to play, or someone to chat with.By far my favorite coffee shop!
Oh So Yummy!. I popped in to aLatte Cafe today for the first time and loved it! The atmosphere is cozy and encouraging to sip and linger. I especially enjoyed the local artwork on the walls. And who could resist the aromas of fine coffee beans roasting?!?! My coffee and bagel were perfectly prepared and the staff was super sweet.I can’t wait to go back! The only dilema would be what to order next time?!?!?! It will be so hard to choose!

Cool place, but…. Good coffee/espresso selection, cool eclectic atmosphere. Nice that they have couches to lounge on. The only problem is the hours – not open after 7 on weekdays or at all on the weekends, which is exactly when I (and most people, I guess) would want to hang out there.They could probably do great business if they were open nights & weekends.
We stopped by for a Saturday morning cup of coffee and discovered this place is NOT open on weekends. Really???
