Great quality. The corn and crab bisque was delicious and had plenty of crab meat. I also got the chicken salad sandwich which was hearty and had plenty of flavor, but I’ll definitely pass on getting that for dinner in the future (it was more of a lunch-type item).
Wanting more. The food was pretty good…..the service was a little better than pretty good….thank you Tyson….the manager Kevin visited our table and seemed interested in what we had to say about our overall meal….He was somewhat impressive and I enjoyed our interaction with him….I don’t think of Baker’s Crust as your run of the mill breakfast/lunch or diner facility….it is not a joint……therefore, I would like to see cloth napkins and not some oddly shaped coffee mugs…..but….. we will be back to experience other items on their menu…..
Relaxing Sunday lunch on the terrace. Tasty and relaxing lunch made all the better by our server Eddie and manager Maurice, who were cheerful, attentive, and flexible, managing to create a bread sampler tray for us even though it wasn’t formally on the menu. Mango and blueberry salad was fresh and crisp. Nice folks, good breads, and rich, double chocolate cookies.
Call ahead. I stopped by at 1100 on saturday and was hungry for a brick oven pizza 10 minutes after I ordered I was told the oven wouldn’t be ready for at least another 15 minutes. Maybe I’m the only person in Norfolk who eats lunch at 1100.
Not worth it. Poor service My omelette was undercooked and chicken biscuit was overcooked
Best one in Tidewater. Hip, comfortable, well managed and super staff. We had brushetta, fresh mozzarella cheese, pizza, grinders and a ginormous salad…all perfect and delivered with about a 15 minute wait. Also had cheesecake on a stick. Definitely worth a lunch if your around Ghent. Surprised it is a chain. Good job.
Always Delicious!. We have never had a bad meal here. Whether it’s lunch or dinner, we’ve always had good service and great food; we love the variety of breads as well!
