Outstanding!!!. Give this restaurant 5 stars for excellent food, service and personality! My husband and I, with another couple, were there this Saturday evening. All 4 of us had a wonderful and fun experience trying each other’s soups and entrees. Our waitress, Kelly, was a sweetheart and gave great suggestions on traditional Thai foods. Her attendance was excellent! The following are just SOME of the great food we experienced: Soups ~ TOM YUM GOONG ( shrimp soup), TOM YUM PAK (mixed vegetables, carrots and broccoli). Entrees ~ MASMAN GOONG (MASMAN curry shrimp), KANG PANANG (choice of chicken, beef or pork) we had beef. All entrees come with the perfect Thai salad. Love it, we’ll be back!!!

E. Baker you’re an idiot. 12% gratuity? you’re complaining about that? Wake Up! Most places add 18% gratuity to parties of 8 or more. And if you’re complaining about 12% then you don’t need to go out to eat. 12% of the bill is not an acceptable tip percentage, it should have been at least 18%. I hope you and you’re party learn the respectable amount to tip.
Nice friendly bartender good food I ordered papaya salad and bbq Pork satay good chai MatingGive this place 4 star out of 5
Maybe rethink about their tip policy…. My classmates and I were regulars to this restaurant until they make us pay tip regardless. The last time we went, and one of my classmates realized that he check was much higher than usual. He checked the receipt and realized that a tip was tagged on. Then we all realized that all three of our checks had a 12% gratuity charged. That was the last time we were there. I am sorry to say that the food was great and the staff was friendly. But forcing students to pay gratuity was enough to turn away customers.
Going down hill. It keeps going down hill. For the past 2.5 yrs it was one of my favorite restaurants. But recently, the food was bad when we ate inside the restaurant. The service was unsatisfactory, slow, & negligent as well. So 3 months later, we gave it a second try. We ordered take out. It was bad, worse than before. The veggies are drenched in the watery sauce. The shrimp are now smallest of any bag you’ll find in a grocery store. It was cold & soggy. Again. So they are on a downward trend.Bangkok Garden had always been a great restaurant. But now their food & service is disappointing.
Count Your Money – They Don’t. I recently ordered 5 dishes for an early evening 5:00pm weeknight carryout. This place was not busy by any stretch of the imagination. I ended up receiving only three (3) of the five (5) dishes ordered. These folks has the gall to charge me for all five. I figured out that one had been omitted before leaving the store and requested a credit to my bill. They responded by increasing the tab from $62.00 to $74.00. After much hassle and no explanation or apology, the bill was reduced to $47.00 – which would have been approximately correct for the four dishes I thought I was getting. When I got home, I discovered that yet another dish had been omitted. I ended up getting 3 out of 5 dishes ordered. They tried to charge me for all of them. I ended up paying for 4 dishes and received 3. Settling one’s bill is a lot like a game of three card monty with these folks. If you must eat here (and I never will again), bring your calculator, write down what you order and compare it to the bill. The food is tired and uninspired Thai-American. Portions are small. Prices are high – even if you do get what you ordered and paid for. Which you may or may not.
