Disliked this restuarant. I was attending a show at The NORVA one night and was told that if I dine with FM, I would receive early entry. So we did. We came earlier than the concert to eat. There were a lot of people there, probably going to the show as well. We were told we had to order at least ten dollars per person, which makes sense. We order the peach and bourbon bbq wings. They were terrible. Nothing about them was peach or bourbon and hardly bbq. The sauce was okay. The worst part was that the chicken didn’t seem to be cooked thoroughly. It was very light and pink tinted. We just took them to go and ended up not eating them. Food wasn’t good. Service was average. The waiters were a bit off putting. We didn’t end up getting in early so we felt a bit scammed into coming to their resturant.

Our waitress suggested we just order apps if we wanted early entry to the show. We took her advise, and it took a good 40 minutes from order to table. The chicken fingers looked like something that they scraped together in the kitchen (I wish I would have taken a picture), the cheese fries were so salty we had to ask for more drinks, which never came…..along with the ketchup and the beer my husband asked for when we placed our order. We missed early entry to the show, we were still hungry, but the show was GREAT! Miss the menu and the service that once was The Jewish Mother.
FM rocks!. We were all going to see the blues show at the NorVa last night and we stop into FM for a cocktail, the place was Awesome. Great vibe, everyone was enjoying it. The cocktails were hand crafted, and the bartenders was well versed in the menu as well. We started with the fried green tomatoes, that were out if this world. The best I’ve ever had anywhere. The music was some old school Motown hits, getting us to singing and foot tapping and putting us in the mood for the show at the NorVa. We then ordered the fresh clam strips, a special that night. And they were so fresh, i couldn’t have gotten better at a first class seafood restaurant. My friend ordered the meatloaf, and it was to die for. This place rocks. We will be back at least once a week since we live in the area. FM is one of those restaurants that will be here for a while. Great job guys.
