We paid $28 for 3 pastries!!! They were good but not $28 good. The place is kind of a hole in the wall and the owner said its been there for 100 years. He did give us a pomegranate…just because.
What a joke. This place is a total joke. Don’t care if the pastrami is better than sex, dude tried to charge me $7 for a cappuccino that wasn’t actually a cappuccino, just a mediocre drink made on a crap machine. I had ordered to go. He had no lids. Hey dude, cappuccino + car – lid = dangerous. Threw him $8 and walked out with nothing. Worst place I’ve ever walked into. Big mistake. Stay away.
Beware. I went on a Sunday around 3 pm. My friend and I got a pastrami sandwich and a chicken salad sandwich. I found it odd that there were no prices listed…….now I know why…….our bill came to 31 dollars for just 2 mediocre sandwiches….how this place stays open is a mystery to me…..I guess ripping off unsuspecting customers is the answer.
