  Its chinese food. Friendly hostess, nothing wrong with the food. It’s chinese food, it’s either bad or just fine. This place is fine. The Egg Drop soup is a winner. Quick prep time. We are regulars

  Terrible General Tso’s Chicken, dumplings were only so-so. Delivery was fast and food was hot, hot and sour soup was good but that’s kind of hard to get wrong. I will not get food from here again

  Awesome. We order from Golden Fortune for lunch once in a while and they are fast, food is hot, and it is just plain good chinese food. The sweet and sour chicken I had this week was delicious.

  Yum!!. We spent the week in Norfolk as our base for exploring Hampton Roads, and the kids wanted Chinese food for our last dinner here tonight. Based on the reviews here, we went to Golden Fortunre, which is just down the street from where we’re staying.It is NOT what you’d expect…a little hole in the wall that has great service and terrific Chinese food. We had the Mongolian beef, shrimp lo mein, chicken lo mein, shrimp fried rice, vegetable rolls and won ton soup. Everything was fantastic! Very fresh, not at all greasy, quite a surprise. The only thing I didn’t personally like was the vegetable roll, because it had onions. We ordered small servings so that we didn’t have to deal with leftovers and we were still stuffed.We ate in rather than bringing it back to the house, and the service was great. We were served very quickly and were instantly brought anything we needed. They only have 5 or 6 tables in there (pizza parlor style) but it was comfortable enough for us.My boys want to go back tomorrow but Chinese isn’t my idea of brunch. 😉 Highly recommend!!

  Screwed up my order. Well, the worst part is that I ordered asparagus and they gave me green beans. Oh well. They were good but not what I wanted. Also they had NO sauce, which was disappointing. I also ordered homestyle tofu. It was good, and the vegetables were good, but the sauce was too watery and extremely bland. I also ordered the red bean puffs- you only get four microscopic puffs for three dollars, but they were amazing. I like that you can order dishes in small or large size, but the small sizes are a pint for the dish plus a mini container of rice, which I thought wasn’t much at all for the price. I would go here again but definitely check your order before you leave!

  Not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. In fact, I would venture to say it was the worst. On the upside, the service was good. They were very friendly. Its a shame the food didn’t taste good.

  Big Fan!. Definitely one of the best Chinese food restaurants in town. Everything is good (except maybe the crab rangoons), especially their chicken dishes! The service is great, and their delivery drivers are more than punctual. I’m very satisfied with Golden Fortune.
