First Timer. I have worked in downtown Norfolk for over 2 years and never bothered to darken the door of this deli. A cohort suggested I try it out for lunch. The service was excellent…. fast and friendly. the food was delicious fresh and served warm where it was dish appropriate. I will definitely go back without hesitation.Check it out.
Tasty Lunch. Husband and I went here for lunch. Ordered Chicken Salad Sandwich on Wheat (bread from a northern Virginia bakery), Greek Salad, and Hummus. We will definitely go back. 🙂 Owner came around to see how everything was, very friendly!
I am a fan!. I have been dining here since the first week they opened. Love the pita and hummus. So delish. The owner is very sweet and usually stops by to see if everything is OK. They really are the Best of Norfolk!
OMG! Yummy. Every time I go here, I am amazed at how fresh and wonderful everything is. You would think I have never had good food before, but each time I eat here, I feel like I am in food heaven. Now, I am a foodie, so I do love to eat, but this is just over the top good. I tend to get the specials, but really, it’s all special. Can you tell I just got another belly full of goodness! Oh, my! I can’t wait to go back.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. I went there yesterday with a friend for lunch. The service was good!The meat in my gyro was cold.Half of the chicken kebob’s in my friends meal were under cooked (raw in the center).When we mentioned this, the owner offered us free baklava.I won’t be back anytime soon!
Great place. Rode the Tide and stopped there for lunch. The place was busy but the staff ws friendly and seated us quickly. I had a chicken salad sandwich and my son had a ruben. Everything thing was delicious and homemade. Took some baklava home for dessert. I plan on going back for dinner sometime.
