While the food is good, the condition of the place is terrible. There is mold on the door frame entering the kitchen. There is black mold on the ceiling. The waitstaff is decent. Not very attentive. It took 15 minutes to get a refill on my drink. The toilets look as if they have not been cleaned in a long time.
So, here we are at IHOP in Norfolk while waiting for my moms procedure to be done and what do my daughter and I see? Mold…on the ceiling above the tables…how is this acceptable? Also cracking and pealing paint above some tables. This place is deplorable! The food was good and the service was good too, but the condition of the onside of the building needs serious work.
