Best Chinese food in Ghent!. Having lived in Manhattan for several years, I was addicted to the little hole-in-the-wall Chinese takeout places all over the city. So when I moved to Ghent in 2001, I was delighted to find Kin’s Wok. It was spot on with the NY Chinese food that loved. The food is just delicious. I have been to Chinatown in SanFrancisco, Chicago, DC, and Manhattan. Kin’s holds up! Love it.

Try China Ocean Instead. I often wonder when I read reviews whether people in this area know good Chinese food when they get it. The quality and price is not deserving of the raves they get as their food oozes grease. They are not customer friendly and are not reasonable with sauces such as soy or mustard trying to give you only the below minimum amount or a surcharge is added. They want to nickle and dime customers to death and make judgements based on a lack of knowledge of previous experiences. It is unbecoming as they have been in the area for a long time and should know better. China Ocean next to Farm Fresh/Marketplace has much better reasonably priced food.
