We this place. We got the perigee app, buffalo shrimp sub and hot Norfolk brown. All three were outstanding. This will no doubt become one of our go to restaurants and we have to pay a toll to get there.
We’ve been to no frill many times when we lived in Ghent and love that we can come home with a full meal size leftovers each! The food is pretty decent, some stuff is better than others and we would definitely go back as you can see weve been there many times. Service is always really good though despite them being really busy all the time! Beware you may have to wait for a table but it’s worth it to have a good meal. I will say it’s very loud in there so when my grandparents came they didn’t really like it, but there’s nothing they can do about that. Just personal preference! If you’ve never been, I recommend trying it! ourfoodieappetite.com
Inviting spot that accepts reservations. (Surprising how many don’t). I had the Veggie Reuben and the kids had the Cheeseburger and Chicken Tenders meal. The kids meals come with a side and a drink- great deal. The mac n cheese was really good; definitely made in house, not that frozen watery trash. Fries were the crinkle cut frozen variety but served hot and crispy. The Reuben was delicious and stacked high with sauerkraut tomatoes and had enough thousand island were it wasn’t soggy. A couple of the friends I went with got the brunch specials and write those plates were LOADED. the steaks and eggs were cooked as they ordered and there weren’t any complaints. Service was above average and we didn’t need to ask for anything. Will be going back very soon. Meal for me and my two kids: $25 including 25% tip. Can’t beat that!
After a wait of about 20 minutes on a weekend, I ended up with a fantastic server and delicious food. The drunken cheese bread was my favorite, although it did consist of more cheese than bread. Pierogies were also loaded with a ton of cheese, but overall tasty. Entrees were great, portions were large, and everything was plated nicely. Drink specials during brunch hours on the weekend were awesome.
One of my faithful a, but lately has been hit or miss. Always love the chili and the seafood trilogy is a fave. We love pirogies but won’t ever get them from here again.
After reading reviews very excited. Not so much after eating there. Corn bread nondescript. Drunken Cheese Bread was passable, but tasted too much onion. The crabcake sandwich tasted like crab meat put in a blender with lots of filler. The pasta salad was dry, and no flavor…..which seemed to be a theme in all the dishes. The service was fantastic, the staff very friendly. Plenty of parking, but all full even though the restaurant when we arrived only had about 8 other patrons. To be honest not a place I will go to again.
Someone said the Funky Chicken Sandwich was flavorless??? How could that be? I have had that sandwich at least 8 times in the past couple of years and it is always dynamite.Love the No Frill!!!
