I’ve been here for 10 minutes so far, and I’m wholly unimpressed, we stood around for 5minutes before being offered to seat myself; and after I was seated there’s two of us and we were provided only one menu.. And upon selecting an item from the menu I was then informed they didn’t serve the items I selected. But the food came In a timely manner, and was pretty good, minus a few overripe tomatoes. But If you want good Greek food and bad service Norfolk Grille is the place for you.

Great Catering. We used them for catering and everyone loved it. Ted took great care of us and the veggie, fruit and meat platters were great. So was the cheese. Highly recommend!

Check out breakfast.. I haven’t been in here in quite some time. Since my last visit they’ve settled into their new location quite nicely. There’s a TV up in the counter area and pictures hanging on the walls as well.Recently we’ve been picking up breakfast over here. Work is about a block away so we have been calling our orders in and when we get there about 15-20 minutes later they’re hot and ready to go.The owner is always there in the mornings and has a cheerful greeting as well. So if you’re looking for breakfast downtown, it’s worth giving them a try.09 Sep, 2012New Location, Same Great Food.. I stopped in for lunch last week quite by accident at their new location in the York Center building. As I was walking by there was a piece of paper in the window stating they were open, so I stepped inside. As it turns out it was their opening day at the new location, and you could see every one was getting used to the new layout. There’s definitely more counter space here and I pulled up a seat and ordered a burger.Since I’ve reviewed a burger here before I’ll just skip that and really talk about the new location. The layout of the main dining area is like a letter ‘L’ with the long part of the dining room coming from the York Center lobby and then there’ s a right turn and that’s where you’ll find the counter. You can access the restaurant from either the York Center lobby or from the side door that is on Bousch St. Another nice feature of the new location is they have a second dining room available now for parties and events. Very nice indeed. They are open for breakfast & lunch, hours I believe are 7:30am to 3pm. They have a strong local following and I think they’ll do well here. You can find them now right on the corner of York & Bousch St. with an entrance on either side. Parking is available in a small lot on the rear which faces Brambleton. BTW, if this location sounds familiar it’s because this is where the old Oasis Grill used to be located.05 Aug, 2012Killer Meatloaf. Another excellent lunch here last Monday. I had the meatloaf lunch special which consisted of an excellent portion of meatloaf, green beans and mashed potatoes (not instant). Portions were large, in fact almost to large. However it was delicious and I’m going to be a visitor here for a long time to come.05 Aug, 2012Fine home cooked meals.. The Norfolk Grille is a mom & pop restaurant located (for just a few more weeks) in the Wainwright Building on Bute St. You walk into the Wainwright builder and then immediately to your left to enter the restaurant. It’s a long room with the counter on your right, and about 15 to 16 tables.Walking in here makes me feel like I’m stepping into a deli in NYC. A co-worker and I popped in for lunch, met the owner, Ted, who was very cool and we chatted a bit before and after the meal. The business is about 3 years old according to Ted as well. After checking the lunch specials I found my favorite standby meal on the list, a bacon cheeseburger, and my co-worker had a gyro. We took seats at the counter and the meal was prepared right in front of us.The burger was small IMOP, however it was a lunch special, not a full burger off the menu. Definitely fresh ground beef and not frozen. My co-worker said the gyro was also excellent with everything being fresh.Last but not least they are moving due to the Wainwright building getting ready to perform renovations. The Norfolk Grille will be moving over to the former location of The Oasis Grill, which was a diner that closed back in Jan of 2012 on the corner of Brambleton and Boush St. in late August.
