Vinegar isn’t wine. Seriously disappointed.Planned Valentine’s day around this place. What a bust.Maybe it was just Valentine day, but we were sat at a small cramped table waiters kept bumping into and knocking things off of. The food wasn’t bad if you don’t know better. For us dried out fish and a steak that’s been done better at an Applebees isn’t worth the prices. Also wine has a shelf life then gets a horrible vinegar taste. Lots of people drink bad wine and think it’s good, but this had already gone bad. My Asti came flat. Taste aside, that’s just wrong. Don’t go.

NOT Authentic at all. Coming from someone who lived in Morocco, has had many Moroccan friends open their homes and kitchens for years, when I lived abroad. Shame. Reminded me of airline food.
I have been wanting to go here for a while heard great things about this place. I was completely let down! It was horrible at best! I was extremely excited to go with my boyfriend for Sunday brunch ad that is our thing and haven’t seen him for a month. Service was nothing special neither were the bloody Mary’s. The food though was horrible!!!!! We both got the California Eggs Benedict and it took some work to eat it as I needed a saw to cut through the English muffin! Couldnt even eat the english muffin because i was scared i would break a tooth. Menu said it came with potatoes and fresh fruit it came out with the fruit and baked apples, so fruit and more fruit.

I have no idea what these people are on about. The taGines are sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar and are delicious. Everything about the place is enjoyable. The service is almost always very attentive and they have even helped us choose between items on the menu. My boyfriend and I will continue to frequent this restaurant for date nights.
Omar’s looks like a decent enough place for a date, but don’t be misled. The service is poor and the food is mediocre at best. We went for Moroccan food and the owner should be ashamed to call it such (as he is Moroccan.) The hummus was good and the bastilla had an excellent flavor but the entrees were lacking and nothing like authentic Moroccan. How do they serve a chicken tajine without cinnamon? It was lacking other seasonings as well. Finally, the lamb we ordered was advertised as a rack of lamb on the menu but came out as a pair of lamb chops. Very disappointing. The waitress was inattentive and, apparantly, didn’t know the difference between a rack and a chop. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.
