  I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I ordered the Pork Chop Sandwich. It was the biggest pork chop I had ever seen. It was flavored and cooked just right. It set on top of fresh lettuse and tomato all with a kaser roll. The only thing it lacked was some kind of sauce on it. The server had me try their honey mustard but it just didn’t do the trick for me. The sweet potato fries were great tasting as well as an order of their Candied Yams. I also recommend the appetizer sampler which gives you a taste of chicken wings, battered Shrimp, hush puppies and fries. All were delicious!! It’s soulfood in up class dining. I diffidently go back for more! And finally their unique Tea’s are the best! Each day a different flavor. If you don’t order a tea while you’re there you’ve missed out their treasure!

  We were greeted by a pleasant young lady and then we were seated immediately our server was amazing she had the best customer service ever thanks Kizzie the food was delicious everything was GREAT…will definitely be return #sweetteasRock #everybodywasawesome #nocomplaints

  Still trying to decide on this place and not compare it to Mama J’s or Croakers in Richmond. The temp was rather warm in the restaurant and no air in the bathroom. The cornbread could have been better but the hush puppies were top notch. Their cake slices are huge and so are their main course portions. I ordered 4 veggie sides and only received 3 of them. The waitress was lacking experience with large parties or just wasn’t good but was nice. We had to ask over and over for items. Going to try this spot one more time and maybe they just have new restaurant kinks to work out.

  The staff was very friendly , however the bus boy cleaned and consolidated the plates at the table , and spilled a glass of ice . this process went on for minutes. Chicken bones were dropped on the table , and the bus boy seemed to be a little off . Am still trying to decide if I would return to this restaurant , We were a party of eight, and requested a sample of the potato salad for future visits , and was told no . A bite of potato salad stood in the way of them receiving a better rating , and the bus boy . Also there was no lump in the crabcakes.. They were more like breading on fried breading . The cornbread was delicious .
