Best Meal in NRV. The search great food is a main element in my wife and I’s marriage. We are always exploring new and different restaurants and 622 North is #1. From our server, Ray being so knowledgable about every aspect of the meal and pairing wines to even meeting the chef’s Katherine & Thomas made the experience worth a review. Every aspect of our meal was so flavor filled and presented so neatly I caught myself shaking my head after every bite. The filet was one of the perfectly prepared cuts, it actually took my best steak of my life award in my mind. The pairings of wine were also such a neat aspect, I highly recommend anyone to try and be ready for flavor overload! If you have not eaten there you are doing your stomach a major disservice, bottom line. I would have gladly paid twice what we did for such a quality meal. 12 out of 10 stars

Great place! My boyfriend took me hear for valentines day and they had a special for valentines day. Yes it is a but pricey but the food is worth it. With a variety of wines and clean cut fresh food it’s always the place to go for a special occasion. Blacksburg needed a fancy place and this is it.
Grateful for the 622 option in B’burg. When I’m visiting friends and family in southwestern Virginia, 622 and the Palisades (in Eggleston, right outside of Blacksburg) have become my two favorite choices for finer dining in the Virginia Tech area. Courtney, the manager of 622, seems genuinely invested in the quality of the food and drink served there. She’s serious about making 622 one of the best restaurants in that region, and her warm, witty personality and special care for her guests create a friendly, approachable venue for the higher-end dining scene in Blacksburg. She makes 622 better, just by being who she is and caring so much. Though 622’s menu is one of the more adventurous in Blacksburg, it’s not a stuffy place. The vibe is relaxed, with a lot of fun, smart academe clientele relaxing and hanging out over good food and a enjoying wide range of fine beer and wine.Some of the home-run dishes I’ve had there include a salad with a blueberry vinaigrette that was heavenly, an Italian creme cake with lemon icing and peach ice cream, artichoke dip and a rare tuna starter. The menu ranges from basic fare (e.g. hamburgers) to tofu-themed appetizers and 3-4 course dinners, and prices vary accordingly (with many inexpensive options on the menu — lots of price points to suit all).

Suzanne and Killian. Having now eaten at 622 North for brunch, lunch and dinner, we can honestly say that it is one of our all time favorite restaurants anywhere! The food choice is excellent with a visually appealing presentation. They have done a great job of offering a nice variety of choices that are very reasonably priced. The wait staff is exceptional giving each table their undivided attention. Their knowledge of wine is a plus. we highly recommend 622 North to anyone!
I’ve eaten here a half dozen times. The food is always great. The service has always been top notch. The wine and beer selections are very good and the prices aren’t that much more than if you purchased them in a specialty shop yourself. It’s really the only upscale place in Blacksburg.
