Ok so we were at Sharky’s and barely got through the apps. Moved to the Taphouse and had a completely opposite experience. There is 30 taps of craft beer and the food is good. I just don’t understand why at 4pm on Friday evening this place isn’t packed with pre gaming college kids.
The food was great! Fries were super tasty. Portions are perfect. Beer was good too. Service was a little weird. We were literally the only people there and the waitress forgot our appetizer.
The service was slow and rude, and the food wasn’t very good either. The bacon on my sandwich was burnt and the bread was too hard to eat. I told my waitress, and was offered 10% off my next visit, but I definitely won’t be going back.
Delicious food. The honey sriracha wings are outstanding, served with ranch, blue cheese, and carrots, and celery. The entree was even better!! The burgers are 100% local grass fed beef, no added hormones or antibiotics. The fries are fresh, never frozen, cut in house. Their beer list contains many Virginia breweries, such as Devils Backbone and Legend on tap. Although the prices are a bit steep, the quality of the food makes up for it! – Will be back soon to try more dishes, such as the crabcake sandwich. (:
Great crab dip app, good selection of burgers and sandwiches. The sweet potato fries I had with my burger were great and the burger was pretty good. Ordered the lemon blackberry desert which was delicious. Beer selection is decent but slightly overpriced. The food was similarly priced but wasn’t so overpriced that I would regret my decision to eat there. All and all good experience, good food, good beer. Worth a visit!
