Poor reception. Came there on a Sunday afternoon with my family. We were told by the waitress that they we closing their bunch menu in ten minutes and that they were going to their regular menu. Rather than seating us, she told us to come back in ten minutes. The waitress appeared to be interested more in turning business down than accommodating us. There were empty tables so seating was not an issue. The other reviews that i read that the service was bad was right on the button. I will not be back and I will share my story to many who are thinking of patronizing there.

Great food. Low country shrimp and grits are fantastic. Feast atmosphere. The service is incredibly slow though

The fried chicken was superb–actually, the rosemary mashed potatoes that came with it, topped with white gravy were the best part. Server was great–kept the drinks coming, and very friendly and patient. I will be back! 🙂

I was born in New Orleans and–come to think of it–I definitely miss the place, but here at Boudreaux’s, every time I ate here, it’s like it always took me back. This is about as real Cajun-style cuisine as you can get here in Blacksburg, VA. Whenever I get a chance, you can be sure I am coming back.

Brunch w/Cajun Mary. When you think Sunday brunch, you think Boudreaux’s and a Cajun Mary (or two or three). Unfortunately, lunch and dinner at Boudreaux’s are not the best options in Blacksburg. The servers could be friendly and maybe look a bit happier. I’m not a huge fan of someone looking pissed off while serving me gumbo but the brunch is still spot on.

Not True Cajun, Doesn’t Matter. Let’s be clear, the food is best described as Cajun-Inspired, but it is great food. There are dishes here that you cannot get for miles around, but that is not the only reason to come. The general setting and mood of the restaurant is great, amazing if you can manage to get on the rooftop. I would recommend people come to try it out at least once, and just enjoy it for what it is.

Great all around. Great food and great drinks. Probably the best place to sit outside and drink on a spring/summer afternoon (Roof deck) in Blacksburg. Food is delicious and setting is very relaxed.
