  This place is a bit of a dive, but the food is cooked fresh and quite decent. It is the best meal for the price in Blacksburg. +1 to the comment to watch the guy cook! Quick prep, decent quality (agreed the breading sometimes too heavy), spicing good, great price.

  Double Dragon. Cleanliness is below average as far as Chinese restaurants go, which means it is fairly disgusting. I almost turned around as soon as I walked in since this would be a very bad sign in any other type of restaurant. Nothing in particular stood out, the entire place needs a thorough cleaning and some repairs. This is not unusual for the shopping center they are located in, Blacksburg Square, so I usually avoid the whole area.The food was bad. The General Tso’s Chicken was spheres of low quality meat. I have never seen anything like it before. I usually expect previously-frozen fatty dark meat in this type of food but there was something else wrong with it quality-wise that I can’t quite identify. The pieces were also huge: 50mm diameter which means they were difficult to eat, almost impossible with chopsticks, without dividing them into several smaller pieces. The breading was also inconsistent; it varied between 1mm and 11mm and was raw in the thicker parts.The price was very low but what’s the point if the food is bad? If the owners clean the place and re-imagine the food I would be happy to give them another chance, otherwise I will not be returning.

  Great. Do yourself a favor. Order take out at the counter and hang around and watch the guy cook, it is fantastic!Atmosphere is terrible, but the food is very fresh, hot and fast. Only dish I would avoid is the Genral Tso’s chicken. Used to be great, but they switched chicken and it is too bready. Combination fried rice is awesome as is the Hunan beef.The guy totally rocks the wok and you can see the entire kitchen from the front, very cool to see him prep and cook. Huge lunch special for only 5 bucks.

  Blah Takeout. I’ve tried eating and ordering here a handful of times hoping the food will get better somehow but it doesn’t. There’s something really bland about their Lo-Mein and everything tastes the same. Service is quick, but some really good Chinese food would be better.
