The A-la-carte menu is nice, but you have to tell them to make it spicy otherwise it’s a little bland. The buffet is bland. Prices are pretty expensive. It’s a one time visit place.
Two spiceless samosas for 2$. If u are charging that much please give authentic indian samosas. I tried samosas of yours in a fest at VT and really don’t want to waste my money on your other dishes.
Some solid Indian food. Nice to see complimentary pappadum and chutneys. Saag was good and flavorful but chicken tikka a little bland (I make better chicken tikka at home). If you like spice, don’t be afraid to order hot. The medium hot didn’t even make my nose run.
The prices are high for the quantity of food. The drink prices are also high and the quality of the drinks poor. Had to send the LI Iced Tea back since you couldn’t taste anything but coke.
Hooray for Indian food!. We love ethnic food and I’m glad to have an Indian restaurant to eat at. I haven’t been to the buffet yet but the dinner cuisine is excellent. Last thing I ate there was the mango lamb and it was fantastic. Although fancy, the atmosphere is nice and quiet and they have live music periodically.
Good Buffet. Good food, friendly service, conveniently located across Viginia Tech campus.
